Our parts are guaranteed for 30 days unless specified otherwise. Engines are guaranteed against rod knock, crack block, and excessive smoking within 30 days of purchase. Engine accessories are not guaranteed. Transmissions are guaranteed to work properly, gears are guaranteed to be in good condition. We are not responsibly for defects/damage caused by improper installation or usage. If you encounter a problem with an engine, transmission, or rear axle assy, we must be notified immediately and while part is still in vehicle. Radiators and condensers are guaranteed not to leak but warranty will be voided if they are "cooked". Batteries are guaranteed to hold a charge. All special orders must have a deposit of not less than 40% down before parts are ordered or special cuts are made. We strive to give the customer what he/she needs but cannot be held responsibly for misinformation given us at time of request. Transmission/transaxle warranty Dyke's Auto Salvage warrants to the original purchaser its transmissions to be free of defect for a period of 30 days from the date of sale. The parts covered by this warranty are the transmission case and all internal parts including the torque converter. Improper torque converter installations will void the warranty. EXCLUDED FROM THIS WARRANTY ARE: THE TRANSMISSION MOUNTS, SHIFTING LINKAGE, FLYWHEEL AND ALL OTHER EXTERNAL PARTS. PROBLEMS THAT RESULT FROM NOT INSTALLING NEW FRONT AND REAR MAIN SEALS, NEW AXLE SEALS, NEW FILTER, FLUID AND PAN GASKET WILL ALSO VOID THIS WARRANTY. THE RADIATOR, COOLING LINES AND EXTERNAL TRANSMISSION COOLER MUST ALSO BE FLUSHED OR WARRANTY WILL BE VOIDED. ON CERTAIN MODELS, NEW RADIATORS AND EXTERNAL COOLERS ARE REQUIRED. |
